Vinyl LP pressing. 2012 collection from the Japanese Experimental outfit. Mi-Gu is Yuko Araki (drums/vocals) with Hirotaka "Shimmy" Shimizu (guitar/producer). Araki and Shimizu are also members of Cornelius' backing group, Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band, If By Yes, and Brother's Sister's Daughter (with Mike Watt). Araki formed Mi-Gu in 2003, releasing the first album on British label Ochre Records; three years later, the second album was released by Atsugua Records in Japan in 2006; and in 2009, Ryuichi Sakamoto's label, Commons released the third album. Choose the Light collects tracks from the three import albums, selected by Chimera Music, re-mastered by Mi-Gu and available on vinyl for the first time.
